Protein Biochemist
San Francisco Bay Area, CA
The Company
Decade is a personalized cancer therapeutics company. We use
cutting-edge AI, high-throughput data and a deep
understanding of cancer biology to create targeted therapies
that address the unique molecular signatures of each
patient's tumor.
We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area where our
world-class team includes scientists, technologists and
experienced business leaders. We value scientific rigor,
elegant engineering and real-world impact.
We are well-funded by leading venture capitalists with a
track record in both technology and biotech.
The Role
Decade is hiring an experienced researcher to make
foundational contributions to our biotherapeutics design
team by leading the development and implementation of
biochemical and cellular assays to ensure the selectivity
and specificity of our novel protein therapeutics.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in biochemical
assay development, molecular biology, and potentially
protein engineering and synthetic biology. They will be
excited by the potential of multiplexed assays to
efficiently characterize individual binders as well as
generate high-quality data for improved binder design and AI
model training.
The ideal candidate will be organized, quantitative and a
good communicator. They will excel in the fast-paced
environment of an early stage biotech with exceptional
colleagues.
If you are excited by the prospect of working at the
intersection of oncology, biochemistry, AI protein design
and personalized medicine, we'd love to hear from you.
